Privacy Policy

Short, because we collect very little.

What we collect

  • When you order: your name, email, phone number if you give one, shipping address, what you bought, and any personalization text.
  • When you join the mailing list: your email, first name if you give one, your graduating class if you choose it, and the date and IP address of your signup — the last two purely as a record of consent.
  • When you contact us or post a memory: your name, email, and what you wrote.

What we do not collect

We never see your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own pages. No card number, expiry date, or security code ever reaches this site or its database.

Why we hold it

  • To make and deliver your order, and to tell you where it is
  • To email you about the reunion, if you asked us to
  • To keep transaction records, which tax rules require
  • To answer you when you write to us

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the companies that make the store work: Stripe for payment, our email provider for delivering mail, and the carrier that brings your parcel.

Analytics

If analytics is enabled on this site, it is configured to anonymise IP addresses and is used only to see which pages people visit. It is not used to build a profile of you.

The memory wall

A memory you submit is published with your name and graduating class once approved. Your email address is never published. Ask us and we will take your memory down.

How long we keep it

  • Order records: seven years, for tax purposes
  • Mailing list: until you unsubscribe
  • Contact messages: two years

Your choices

Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and it works immediately — anything already queued for you is deleted too.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email orders@swhs50.com. We will act within 30 days. Order records we are legally required to retain are the one exception, and we will tell you if that applies.

Cookies

Your cart is stored in your own browser, not on our server. A single cookie is used for staff sign-in on the admin pages. Neither is used for advertising.

Children

This store is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will note it here with a new date. Continued use of the site means the current version applies.
