Southwest High School 50th anniversary celebration announcement

Why a store

A reunion costs money. This is how we pay for it.

A fiftieth anniversary is not a small thing to put on. A venue, a sound system, printing, insurance — all of it has to come from somewhere, and none of it comes from a school budget.

So instead of passing a hat, we made something worth owning. Four original designs, on pieces that will still be in your closet and on your desk in ten years. Every purchase supports the Southwest High School 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Everything is printed and finished by Apostle Casual Style — an alumni-owned shop right here in Jacksonville. Nothing is drop-shipped from a catalogue with a logo slapped on it.

The long view

From 1976 to now

Fifty graduating classes. Every one of them walked the same halls, and every one of them left a little differently than they arrived.

1976

The doors open

Southwest High School opens in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The Stallion becomes the mascot, and orange and black become the colours you can spot from across a parking lot.

Since

Fifty classes

Teams, bands, clubs, first jobs, first goodbyes. Nearly five decades of students who all answer to the same name.

2026

The fiftieth

A celebration for everyone who ever wore the orange. Once a Stallion, Always a Stallion.
